Licensed Engineer
Airtask Group provides bespoke mission based aviation solutions to Government and Commercial customers.
We are currently seeking to recruit a full-time Licensed Engineer to provide engineering support for the following operations:
Maritime Patrol service on behalf of Marine Scotland at Inverness Airport
Scheduled passenger inter-island air service at Tingwall (Shetland)
Scheduled passenger inter-island air service at Oban Airport
Frequent travel between our Inverness, Shetland and Oban bases is required and rotations through the bases will be determined by scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance tasks as well as any AOG events. Applications are invited from throughout the UK.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated and self-motivated, able to work under their own initiative together with the flexibility and ability to work to strict deadlines.
Licensed Engineer Requirements
Inverness
Must hold an EASA Part 66 B1.1 Engineers License with NO RESTRICTIONS & MUST have Reims F406 type rating. Engineers with a Group 2 type rating and Pratt and Whitney PT6 Engine rating may be considered.
Shetland / Oban
Must hold an EASA Part 66 B1.2 Engineers License with NO RESTRICTIONS & MUST have Britten Norman Islander BN2B type rating. Engineers with a Group 3 type rating and relevant experience may be considered.
Other essential requirements include a full driving license, the right to live and work in the UK and the ability to provide a criminal record check (Disclosure Scotland).
