Simon Atkins - Head of Training
Simon joined Airtask in 2025 as Head of Training bringing with him over 26 years of experience in training and examining for both UK and European Authorities as a Type Rating Instructor, Type Rating Examiner, Senior examiner, CRM Trainer and CRM Assessor. These, alongside his various other industry related qualifications brings a solid foundation to our training requirements within our ever-growing aircraft fleets.
Over the years Simon has flown various types of aircraft from the Citation 550, Citation 525, King Air 200, King Air 350, BN2T, PC12 but his favourite has to be the Avro Anson which he helps display at the Shuttleworth Collection.
He has been at the forefront of several Commercial AoC and ATO operations during his years and we are thrilled to have him as an integral kog within the Airtask team.
